Most meals now come with a side of scrolling. We eat with one eye on a screen and barely taste the food. Choosing one phone-free meal a day turns eating back into a small, complete moment: something to enjoy rather than get through.

It is one of the easiest places to be present, because you were going to stop and eat anyway.
